Traditio is Cuarteto Iberia’s debut album for Eudora Records — a programme spanning five centuries, from Mateo Flecha’s Renaissance ensalada La Negrina to Mozart’s String Quartet K. 387 ‘Spring’, with Luigi Boccherini at its heart. The album includes the world premiere recording of his Quartettino G. 230, a work never previously edited or recorded, performed with the conviction and stylistic refinement that define this remarkable young ensemble.
