Based in Madrid, Eudora Records is an independent label whose aim is to capture the finest music performances in the best possible sound quality.
We release a small number of carefully selected recordings each year, taking great pains to ensure we maintain the highest standards in terms of sound quality, musicology and design.
We record our world-class artists’ performances as naturally and accurately as possible, working in venues with spacious acoustics which help create transparent, precise and beautiful renditions, captured to perfection using the best audio technology. Our 5-channel surround recordings enhance the listening experience by creating a three-dimensional enveloping sound, while use of the DSD format ensures perfect resolution and vibrancy. Our productions are released on Hybrid Super Audio CD, a format fully compatible with conventional CD players, and can be purchased from our online store, just a few clicks away, in both physical (SACD) format and a range of digital versions, from the popular mp3 format to original surround and DSD files.
✍📀Thanks to Aart van der Wal for this beautiful review of Arriaga Trio 's 'Elegie'!:
“It is a long and widely outdated thought that non-Russian musicians would feel less at home in Russian music […]. The Trío Arriaga […] convincingly rejects such an idea, because if anything can be interpreted as 'Russian (or Slavic)', then that is clearly manifest in these two performances. […] The warmth and transparency created by Gonzalo Noqué […] is more than excellent, […]. Always a difficult task when capturing a piano trio.”
✍📀😊Thanks to Classical Music Sentinel for this beautiful review of Domenico Codispoti 's Notebook!
“Italian pianist Domenico Codispoti delves deep behind the notes on the page, and enhances each one's introspective temperament and persona. From the deep melancholy of No. 6 Lento assai, to the exhilaration of No. 16 Presto con fuoco and the all-out rage of No. 22 Molto agitato (audio clip below), Codispoti, whilst always maintaining a perfect dynamic balance between the main melody and the harmonic body of each piece, exposes their creative impulse.”
✍📀📣Adrian Quanjer reviews Pedro Mateo 's Ondulation!:
“He adds subtle articulation and moderate dynamics to the undulating textures of Bach’s creative “weaving, spinning and spinning voices”, captivating the attention of an audience with his gentle and elegant style.
Why not put your faith in the artist impressions, served by Pedro Mateo González in the rich acoustics of the 13th Century Convent of San San Francisco, in Ávila, Spain, in the best possible (two microphones) Eudora engineering?”
