Biography
Víctor del Valle, who enjoys a special connection with the world of chamber music, is involved in active collaboration with various musical groups and soloists. However, his growing prominence on the musical scene is undoubtedly due to his career as a concert pianist together with his brother Luis.
Playing as a piano duo they won the prestigious ARD International Music Competition and soon achieved recognition as some of the most outstanding performers of chamber music in Europe.
He performs regularly with recognized musicians as Radovan Vlatkovic, Pablo Ferrández, Reto Bieri, Ana María Valderrama, Cibrán Sierra (Cuarteto Quiroga), Miguel Colom, Carole Petitdemange (Cuarteto Ardeo), Raúl Benavent, Juanjo Guillem, the singer Pasión Vega… and with conductors as Juanjo Mena, Howard Griffiths, Guillermo García Calvo, Ralf Gothoni…
His activities include performances at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in (Madrid), the Palau de la Música de Cataluña, the Dom Musiki Auditorium (Moscow), the Herkulessal (Munich), the Liederhalle (Stuttgart), the Theâtre des bouffes du Nord (Paris), the Teatro Nacional (Panama), the Teatro Metropolitano (Medellín, Colombia), the Finnish National Opera (Helsinki), Seoul International Music Festival (Corea)…
He has recorded music by Tomás Marco together with the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra and he has also performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Galicia in a recording of unpublished work by the Galician composer José Arriola. Moreover, he has made recordings for radio companies such as the RNE (Radio Nacional de España), BR (Bavarian Radio), SWR (Süden-Westen Radio) and for the SONY record label in Spain. In 2016 was presented “Impulse”, a new CD released by IBS Classical and acclaimed by critics and public: “Gran disco” (El Mundo), “Excepcional” (Scherzo Magazine), “Melómano de Oro” (Melómano Magazine)…
Víctor del Valle combines his concert performances with his teaching work at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón (Zaragoza) and is often invited to give master classes of piano and chamber music both in Spain and abroad.
